BHAVAGEETHAM

 Bhoopalam,the music and theatre club of Mar Osthatheos Training College, conducted a musical tribute to the great singer P Jayachandran sir, who had passed away in 2025. The music program was conducted on 7th March 2025, Friday, at 3:00 p.m. in MO Hall. The program was titled "Bhavageetham". It was a tribute to Jayachandran sir and so, we selected the songs which were sung by him. The program started at 3:00 p.m. with a beautiful introduction. Niranjana James introduced the program and gave a warm welcome to all. 

Both the Junior and Senior batch participated in this program. Along with the club coordinator Ms. Dipitha, the student teachers Renjitha, Gopika, Sandra, Revathy, Simnu, Arjun and Jowin performed in the program by singing ths famous masterpieces by Jayachandran. Jowin and Arjun performed the background score with guitar and piano. It was an amazing and entertaining program for everyone. Before concluding the program, the principal of MOTC, Dr. Varghese joined with the team and wished everyone. He also contributed to the session by singing a beautiful song. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by the student teacher Niranjana James, who expressed sincere gratitude to the performers, the staff and the audience for making the event a memorable tribute to P Jayachandran. The program ended at 4:00 p.m.
